Le Domaine Deprade Jorda is nestled in Argelès-sur-Mer. Our vineyards are mainly located in Sorède, Laroque-des-Albères, Argelès-sur-Mer and Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines. The unique combination of schist, gneiss, clay, limestone and sand soils, together with generous sunshine and proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, create ideal conditions for producing top-quality wines. Our Deprade Jorda wines benefit from this exceptional terroir, which brings unrivalled complexity and richness to every bottle.
The Quintessence cuvée is produced at our most prestigious site, in Laroque-des-Albères, high in the Albères mountains.
Quintessence Blanc 2023 is a dry, fine and elegant white wine, aged in barrels for 6 months. A blend of Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris. These grape varieties, well-adapted to the Roussillon climate, give the wine a rich and varied aromatic palette. Grenache Blanc brings aromas of white fruit, such as pear and peach, as well as a pleasant acidity. Grenache Gris adds floral notes and a silky texture, giving the wine a round mouthfeel.
On the palate, it offers liveliness and a persistent finish, making it an ideal choice to accompany seafood, grilled fish or Mediterranean dishes.
